Our areas of expertise

Mobilizing collective intelligence

INDRI aims for systemic change by effectively mobilizing a wide range of actors: public authorities, private sector, civil society, researchers and technical and financial partners. Innovative facilitation methods ensure productive collaboration and strong engagement.

Green and inclusive growth strategy

Qualitative growth is key to Madagascar’s recovery. INDRI supports the private sector, government and all stakeholders in driving economic, social and ecological transformation.

Terrestrial landscapes and forests

Protecting remaining forests and restoring degraded land at scale are essential. This includes developing sustainable economic sectors such as ecotourism and agroecology.

Marine landscapes

Madagascar’s coastline faces major challenges, including climate change and overexploitation of resources, while supporting millions of people. At the same time, the blue economy offers strong potential for sustainable value chains. INDRI works to develop effective strategies for these sectors.

Urban landscapes

Rapid urbanization presents major challenges. INDRI mobilizes urban stakeholders to identify concrete solutions for mobility, waste management and housing in Malagasy cities.

Institutional advocacy

Over the past five years, INDRI has built strong experience in engaging with public authorities. Its advocacy promotes evidence-based solutions supported by a broad coalition of actors.

Technical support to public authorities

INDRI provides strategic advice and technical support to public institutions in the design and implementation of effective policies.

Awareness and communication

Through its communication channels, INDRI contributes to public debate and raises awareness among citizens and decision-makers on key challenges and solutions for Madagascar.

Data consolidation and knowledge sharing

To avoid duplication of efforts, INDRI collects and shares strategic data. The INDRI Connect platform centralizes resources to improve access to information and strengthen collaboration among actors.
